Welcome!

racism noun
: a belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, esp. so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race

The University of Florida has a rich community of racial diversity. Students and faculty unite over Krishna lunches, scientific research, Greek Life, sports, and so much more! But under the stream of unity, racism still shows its ugly face on a daily basis through prejudice, discrimination, and antagonism. What we should realize is that we are all more alike than we are different: we share 99.9% of DNA. So while we tailgate at home games, study all night in Marston, or get some lunch in the Hub, let's each also join together as we take action to end racism!
