Museum Nights

The mission of the Museum Nights program is to make available the rich artistic, scientific, and cultural heritage of the Harn Museum and Florida Museum of Natural History at the UF Cultural Plaza to the student body of the University of Florida and the broader Gainesville community. Museum Nights provides both educational and entertaining programming to increase awareness and appreciation of the arts and natural sciences.

Museum Nights is held Thursday evenings, excluding university breaks, from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at The University of Florida Cultural Plaza which is located on the southwest corner of campus across from the Southwest Recreational Center on Hull Road. On most Museum Nights, visitors can enjoy hors d'oeuvres, such as cheese, fruits, vegetables and desserts.

Please Note: Both museums will not be open every Thursday evening.

The Harn Museum of Art is open every Thursday evening Museum Nights is held and the Florida Museum of Natural History will be open every second Thursday evening of the month for Museum Nights.
