Cory Yeffet is currently serving in his second term as the University of Florida’s Senate President Pro Tempore. As a rising senior from Miami, Florida, he is studying Economics and Political Science. Cory is in his third year as a Student Senator and is proud to represent the Warrington College of Business Administration. Previously in Student Senate, he has served as the Vice Chair of the Judiciary Committee as well as the Majority Party Leader. In addition, Cory has worked to improve cell phone reception during football games and helped to increase the library’s hours of operation to 24 hours. This past year, Cory has assisted with the design of Heavener Hall, advocating for more student study space and free printing; he is excited to be able to contribute to the new home of the School of Business. Around campus, Cory serves on the executive board of his fraternity, and he is working on revamping the email system at UF. During his free time, Cory enjoys rooting for the Florida Gators! His office is on the third floor of the Reitz Union and is always excited to meet with fellow students.
